Best Cities in North America to Find a Sugar Daddy

businessmanEver wonder which city would be the go-to place to find a sugar daddy? A recent survey by the dating web site SeekingArrangement.com revealed that the most popular region to find a sugar daddy in the U.S. is Atlanta, Georgia, where there are 5.98 sugar daddies for every 1,000 male residents. Not too far behind is Scottsdale, Arizona with 5.23 sugar daddies for every 1,000 male residents. 1 For Canadian sugar babies, the city to hit up is Vancouver, British Columbia, which has 3.86 sugar daddies for every 1,000 male residents. 2

The survey also found that men are turning to the sugar lifestyle earlier. In 2007, the average age of a sugar daddy in the U.S. was 44. In 2013, that number dropped to 39 years old. There are also fewer married men joining the site, with 46% in 2007 versus 33% in 2013.

In that same time frame, the annual sugar daddy income has decreased, and as a result, the amount that they’re spending annually on their sugar babies has also dipped slightly from $74,772 in 2007 to $61,200 in 2013. However, when you really crunch the numbers, the average sugar baby is still getting between 22% and 23.25% of her older man’s income. It’s a similar story in Canada, where a sugar baby averages an annual allowance of $51,684—or 22% of her sugar daddy’s yearly income.

Seeking out older partners seems to be an especially growing trend for college and university students who are struggling with inflating tuition fees. According to Brandon Wade, founder and CEO of SeekingArrangement.com, the number of university students signing up to find a sugar daddy has jumped from 30% to 60% since the site first launched in 2006. 3
