There may be 26 years between Alec Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria Thomas, but the couple still act like young newlyweds—Baldwin was even recently photographed at the Cannes Film Festival literally sweeping his young wife off her feet.
The couple is eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child together, a baby girl due in just a couple months. Although they’re beyond excited, Thomas has one big reservation: she’s terrified of giving birth. “I saw a birthing video the other day and I cried,” she confessed to People. But despite the fear, she’s still trying to keep things in perspective. “Hopefully I will survive. I just have to remember that a lot of people have babies, it’s a unique experience and I will be okay.”
Fortunately for 29-year-old Thomas, Baldwin, 55, has been nothing less than a doting husband, doing everything he can to make sure she is comfortable, and has everything she needs. Even still, Thomas—a yoga instructor—has had to make a few lifestyle changes since finding out about baby Baldwin. Because of doctor’s orders, she’s had to cut down on her high-intensity cardio workouts, and instead focus on just yoga and toning. But it doesn’t bother her because, after all, it’s all for her baby.
Besides, there are other things this mom-to-be refuses to change, like her fashion-forward footwear: “Even around the house I have [my high heels]. I’m the only pregnant woman who feels better in heels.”
