Jay-Z and Beyonce’s Secret Love Story

JAy Z and Beyonce age gap relationshipWorld Famous Rapper Jay-z and hip-hop Artist Beyonce have managed to remain tight lipped about their relationship for over a decade now.The royal hip-hop couple has FINALLY spilled some beans about their marriage and the birth of their daughter.

They have come a long way in their journey to success and deserve every bit of fame. They are widely known for their musical career as a couple and as Individuals.

Their love story began in early 1997 when Beyonce Knowles was an acquaintance to Jay-z through the musical scene. She was then only 18 and Jay-Z 31, and the two maintained a healthy friendship for a year before they decided to start dating. The 12 year age gap was never a concern for the stars.

The couple kept their relationship under wraps until 2002, when he released his single “03 Bonnie and Clyde”- with her playing the modern-day Bonnie to Jay’s Clyde.

She was 18 when she first appeared on Jay z protégé (and Roc-a-Fella records golden girl) Amil’s track “I Got That”, prior to her Destiny Child’s solo.

By 2001, Jay-Bey were just trying to date each other, when they appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair’s magazine.

They tried everything in their stride to be discreet about their relationship, but in early 2003 rumors went beyond control. Beyonce was seen flashing Jay’s signature Yankees cap and they were spotted numerous times together publicly and at special events.

The rising star released her first solo album “Dangerously in Love” and her first solo single “Crazy in Love” that featured Jay-Z.The couple displayed their love for each other through their music. They constantly wrote lyrics for each other and performed their love songs on various stages throughout the year. One of the hit song being “Crazy in Love” which they performed at the MTV Video Music Awards.

They made their couple debut for the first Red Carpet event at the MTV Music Video Awards in 2004 in matching outfits.

Being in Love AND happy can not be hidden for long. They were snapped together throughout 2005 canoodling each other from Italy to the Grammy’s.

As the media is well known to spread rumours, they speculated that in 2006 the hip-hop star was pregnant and even named her baby!

The same year she trashed these rumours and came up with her chart topping album “B’Day” which again featured Jay Z in the songs “Deja Vu” and “Upgrade U”. Jay Z took this opportunity for a come back album and launched “Kingdom Come” the same year.

Later that year he released his album “Hollywood” featuring Bey, which she re released in a deluxe version of her album “B’Day” as “Welcome to Hollywood”.

The album featured the track “Lost One” whose lyrics were a clear sign that their relationship was on the rocks. By 2010, in his book “Decoded”, he confirms that the song was infact about their relationship. The pair were at the peak of their careers and relationship at this moment.

2007 was the year for the Royal hip-hop couple, when he finally popped the question to Bey on her Birthday in September. By 2008 they were married in a very private ceremony at his Tribeca New York Apartment. Instead of exchanging rings, they went ahead and did something extraordinary. They got matching IV tattoos on their wedding fingers as the number 4 is of utmost importance in their relationship.

Beyonce took a break throughout 2010, but gave surprise cameo’s with Jay Z on stage. In 2011, she released her album “4” named after their favourite number.

The same year her new fiance released his album “Watch the Throne” with Kanye West, with Bey singing on the track “Lift Off”.

By mid 2011 at the MTV Video Music Awards she flaunted her baby bump in full flare by beginning a performance of “Love on Top”. She gave a statement during her performance saying– “Tonight I Want you to stand up on your feet, I want you to feel the love that’s growing inside of me”, and proudly unbuttoned her jacket and rubbed her stomach.

The year 2012 took a sigh of relief when the couple finally started to open up about their relationship, and the same year Baby Blue Ivy Carter was born. Jay Z’s new song “Glory” was solely dedicated to his beautiful daughter Ivy.

The couple continued to release albums throughout the year 2012 and 2013 with lyrics about how much they were in love with one another.

After a decade of the Royal hip-hop’s couple love saga, came their sad downfall. Jay signed Rihanna who seemed to have been creating trouble in their little paradise. Bey started writing songs about the “other woman” with lyrics changing from “mistress” to “bitch”.

The couple sought to seek separation without divorce, but as fate had it, their divorce was finalised within six months. Beyonce tried to get pregnant and thought a second child would bring things into perspective, but who knew that could only worsen their situation.
