Jerry Seinfeld and Jessica Sklar,17-Year Age Difference

Jerry Seinfeld and Jessica Sklar

Jerry Seinfeld and Jessica SklarThe name Jerry Seinfeld has become synonymous with comedy. Despite landing stand-up gigs and minor sitcom roles in the ‘70s, his career really took off after making an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson in 1981. The episode was so successful that it led to regular return appearances on this show and several others.

In 1989, Seinfeld teamed up with television producer Larry David to create the comedy series aptly titled Seinfeld. Set in New York City, the sitcom followed a fictionalized version of the actor with his group of eclectic friends and acquaintances. Through its nine-season run, the series earned 10 Primetime Emmy Awards, three Golden Globes, four People’s Choice Awards, and six Screen Actors Guild Awards. TV Guide named it the greatest show of all time.

Seinfeld officially came to an end in May 1998. But it was the start of something new for the actor because the following year, he tied the knot with Jessica Sklar, a public relations executive who is 17 years younger than he is. In 2000, Jessica gave birth to their daughter Sascha, followed by sons Julian Kal in 2003 and Shepherd Kellen in 2005.

This wasn’t the first time Seinfeld got involved with a younger woman. In his early 30s, he was romantically involved for four years with fashion designer Shoshanna Lonstein—who was a 17-year-old high school student at the time. Fortunately for Seinfeld, the age gap doesn’t seem to be an issue with his current lady because after almost 15 years of marriage, they’re still going strong.

No mention that he met his currant wife when they shared the same BLDG. address as her AND her HUSBAND.
I bet her X husband will never forget.

As they came home from their honeymoon!!

  • Sonay Bukolsky

    Jerry looks fantastic!

A 30 yr old man who dates a 17 yr old is a PEDOPHILE! But because he’s a Celebrity he gets a pass from a lot of pukes!

If a 30 yr old man TRIED to date my 17 yr old Daughter, Famous or Not, That SOB would be behind bars!

Our society gives lots of passes to celebrities, or people who have money. I guess it’s so the commoners have something to strive for?

Maybe that explains all the damn reality shows?

You’re sadly correct. Don’t forget how if he wanted to slit her throat and that of a do-gooder waiter bringing back her mom’s sunglasses, he’d get away with that too.

    • Aaron J. Kelly

lmao. She is not 17 years old…she is 17 years “apart”…Honestly, learn to read.

      • Barbara Sincleair

        Aaron J. Kelly,
He was talking about his previous relationship with Shoshanna, who was 17 and he was 30 when they began dating…HONESTLY, LEARN TO READ!

      No one will try

    • Col Klink

No it’s the historic norm. He should have married her.

    • Miss Y

Pedophiles are people attracted to young children, not teenagers. While I agree with you about the daughter comment, 17 is hardly a child.

  • Dwight Hinton

Seinfeld, you are the man. Go Jerry, go.

  • cookala

I clearly remember that the current Mrs. Seinfeld was a newly-wed when she started her affair with Jerry, they met at a gym. I’ve never felt the same about Jerry after that, she was a newly-wed, looking for greener grass (money) as I see it. And as for the 17 year old, that was just plain sick. Her family didn’t mind because he was a rich Jew,

    seinfeld — one hit wonder

Age doesn’t define how well marriage will work out anymore.

  • flipspiceland

In today’s culture, 17 for a woman is the new 25. The sexual ‘maturity’ —-which is the primary motive men are attracted to the nubile nymphet—-of the women today, is far and away occurring at a much younger age than it did even 20 yrs ago.
The result is, many times, that of Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Mike Douglas, and Wendi and Rupert.

Way to address the statement about your lack of reading skills with a stupid comment about caps lock.

  • Ferdinand Chetler

Wow, a whole site for hypergamous women. Complete with articles about douchebags who had no intent to keep the vows they made when they got married. Why do what’s right, when you can think only about yourself?
