Relationship Expert: Mick Jagger Using Sex to Cope with L’Wren Scott’s Suicide

Sugar Daddy Mick Jagger Using Sex to Cope with L’Wren Scott’sMick Jagger, 70, was recently spotted cozying up to a young brunette—she appeared to be in her 20s—on a hotel balcony in a Zurich hotel, sparking rumors of a new May-December romance less than three months after his younger girlfriend, L’Wren Scott, took her own life.

According to friends of the Rolling Stones rocker, the May-December romance, which reportedly started at a nightclub, is just a fling that Jagger is using in an attempt to try and move on after L’Wren Scott’s sudden death. “Of course Mick is still sad over L’Wren, but he is working through it and trying to move on with his life,” said one close source, adding that Jagger is “enjoying life again.”

Other insiders revealed that this May-December romance probably isn’t the first fling Mick Jagger has had since his girlfriend’s death. “He has reverted back to his old ways,” revealed another insider. “This is how he deals with things, even in his 70s. Through good times and bad, the thing that never changes is Mick’s love for women. Sex is like a coping mechanism for him.”

Unfortunately, not everyone is as understanding. L’Wren Scott’s sister is making it very clear how she feels about Mick Jagger’s playboy behavior. “These pictures make me really wonder what Mick is really thinking and feeling,” she told The Mirror. “His daughter says that he is still heartbroken and so devastated about losing my sister. And then you see these photos—he will never change.”

One relationship expert, Tracey Cox, weighed in on Mick Jagger moving on so quickly after L’Wren Scott’s death, and she thinks a new May-December romance, even multiple romances, makes total sense—and it doesn’t mean that he didn’t love his late girlfriend.

Jagger has a reputation for being a sex addict and according to Cox, jumping in bed with strangers is exactly how a sex addict would cope with suddenly losing a loved one. “Mick’s actions might not be terribly sensible, popular or mannerly, but it’s not uncommon to crave sex—the act of which creates life—when confronted with death,” Cox wrote in an article for the Daily Mail.

There’s no word yet on who the younger woman in the photos is, or whether or not Mick Jagger is really involved in a new May-December romance with her.

What do you think: Do you agree with Tracey Cox’s opinion of sex as a coping mechanism for Mick Jagger?
