Tori Spelling Shows Us How to Make Big Money Off Your Cheating Husband

Tori Spelling And Sugar Daddy Dean McDermottTori Spelling, who’s admitted to going through significant financial trouble, has found a new way to make money off her husband, Dean McDermott’s, illicit affair with a younger woman and their subsequent marriage crisis.

The celebrity couple’s marriage came under fire back in December 2013 when 28-year-old Emily Goodhand revealed that she had an affair with Dean McDermott while he was in Toronto. McDermott, who has been married to Spelling for almost eight years now, admitted to his “mistakes” and voluntarily checked himself into a treatment center in an effort to save his marriage.

Despite his affair—perhaps even multiple affairs—Tori Spelling stood by her husband, but she’s cashing in on her loyalty now. The celebrity couple has just signed on for a new six-episode docu-series called True Tori, which will follow the pair as they work through their marriage troubles. The series will start with Dean McDermott returning home from his rehab stint.

Although the focus will be on the celebrity couple together, the network says that the “intimate, raw, emotional, and completely real” series will be more from Tori Spelling’s point of view, as she allows the audience to “witness the most difficult and unpredictable period in her life.” If their marriage fails, at least they made some money off of McDermott’s very public affair with a younger woman.

The celebrity couple reportedly started filming this month, and the series will air on April 22 on the Lifetime network. Although they’re documenting the current state of their marriage on T.V., there’s no telling how it’ll all pan out, since it’s all supposedly real and not scripted. As the network said, “Only time will tell if Tori and Dean’s marriage survives.”

There’s no word on whether or not the celebrity couple’s four kids will be part of the show, or how much money Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott will be making off of it, although we imagine it’s a fairly hefty sum.

What do you think: Are Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott making a smart business move by signing on for the show, or totally exploiting their marriage for every penny it’s worth?
