Toronto mayor Rob Ford has become known for a lot of things: cocaine user, anger management candidate, getting drunk in public, and now, a self-professed sugar daddy? The politician recently revealed what he’s planning to get his wife for Christmas this year, and it sounds like he’s thinking right along the lines of your average sugar daddy: “Women love money. Give ‘em a couple thousand bucks and they are happy.” That being said, he’s planning on giving Mrs. Ford “a nice cheque” because she just “wants her cash.” Not to worry; he’s planning on dressing up the money with a “nice basket of flowers.”
Ford has been in the center of a media frenzy since a video surfaced of him allegedly smoking crack, but his wife has shied away from any comments or public appearances. Although, she did stand by his side when he publicly apologized for making an inappropriate comment that revealed private information about their sex life. In response to an earlier accusation that he told a female employee he wanted to perform oral sex on her, the mayor responded with, “I would never do that. I’m happily married. I’ve got more than enough to eat at home.”
We aren’t the only ones who think Ford might be an undercover sugar daddy. A popular sugar daddy matchmaking site extended an invite to him for their Christmas party in Toronto, although a rep for the site maintained that they invited the mayor so that he could see “people in Toronto mixing together and going to an event where people are going to show up.”
