Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were one of Hollywood’s hottest celebrity couples, both on and off the big screen. That’s why everyone was so shocked when it was revealed that she had had an affair with her older, married director, Rupert Sanders. Photos were leaked that showed Stewart, who was 22, hugging and kissing 41-year-old Sanders, who was married to model Liberty Ross at the time, while they were working together on the film Snow White & the Huntsman.
Stewart eventually admitted to the affair and went so far as to release a public apology to Pattinson, saying, “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.” Sanders also released a public statement apologizing for the affair and the pain that it caused his family. His wife went on to file for divorce, while Pattinson took Stewart back—but the reunited celebrity couple didn’t last too long because Pattinson officially pulled the plug on their four-year relationship a few months later.
Now, however, it seems that Stewart’s affair with the older man was much more than a “momentary indiscretion,” because the actress reportedly got in touch with Sanders again after his divorce was finalized, and the pair even met up a couple of times. Unfortunately, Sanders wasn’t interested in being Stewart’s sugar daddy for the second time around, and stopped seeing her shortly after. In other words, she lost her boyfriend and her sugar daddy.
Sanders’ ex-wife recently left a message for Stewart, condemning her for not even having the audacity to apologize for breaking up her family, according to an insider who said, “Liberty recently left a message for Kristen, suggesting she might as well sew a big letter ‘A’ on her chest, since she’s never really apologized to the now divorced mom.”
Meanwhile, Pattinson has just sold the L.A. house that he and Kristen shared, and he’s since left Stewart behind and moved to Beverly Hills. Although he never really addressed the dramatic split, he did hint that he had no intention of maintaining contact with his cheating ex-girlfriend. “I don’t ever feel the need to forgive,” Pattinson recently said, adding, “I judge people on their actions. I don’t really care if it’s wrong or right, I give them the benefit of the doubt. If they do something I can’t be bothered to deal with, I just cut them out.”
What do you think: Will Kristen Stewart be able to revive her reputation after this cheating scandal?
